These are the cutest shows but they do run a little small. They are tight on my feet.The quality of the hand sewn detailing on the top of the shoe is lovely. The flowers are made of ribbon, the stems and knots are embroidery thread and the main two flowers are translucent ribbon, very pretty and all stitched on not a glued applique.Very sturdy rubber sole as many mentioned so no worries about slipping. I didn't think the inner part of the shoe was rough or uncomfortable in any way. No unusual smells with my shoes either.I do want to mention the size. After reading the reviews I went with my size and I just placed an order for the next size up. I probably would have been fine just going up 1/2 a size but that isn't an option for size 9 to 10. I've always considered myself a standard 9, for decades I've worn a 9. Not too long ago I ended up in pair of 8..5 Tom's which were more comfortable than their size 9's. So these size 9's should have fit.I was able to wear them around the house but it was clear if I did much walking my toes would be pushing at the end of the shoe all day. Surprised at the fit I compared them to several pairs of shoes I have. They are markedly smaller than every pair of 9's and even smaller than the 8.5 Tom's! Even if the 10's are a little large I can do an insert which will be more comfortable than trying to squeeze in a too small shoe.They are so cute and well done I was going to keep them because I didn't think they had a larger size, but when I saw they did I ordered them before returning the others.Treat yourself and get these for summer.I bought the deep blue version of this item in size 9. I am an 8.5 (M) in Skechers GoWalk3 shoes, and I was contemplating getting the 8.5 here. I'm glad I went with the 9 as it fits well but loosely. It's the perfect length, but the material that is used to make the insole of this shoe, as well as the blue body of the shoe is rough. The insole isn't so bad and it is very breathable (no sweaty feet here!), but the top of the toe box keeps rubbing against my toes, and it feels like it's going to sandpaper my skin off. Since the shoes fit loosely, I can wear socks to prevent my skin from getting rubbed off. The rubber sole is nice and grippy, and is slightly elevated at the heel as opposed to the front at the toebox. It is thick enough so that you cannot feel the ground through the shoe. This makes the shoe very comfortable for me since flats hurt my ankles and feet.I would not recommend that these shoes be worn for extended walking, or even a bit of walking. They are suitable if you're going to be sitting somewhere for most of the time, and you don't have a lot of walking to do. The socks may save you but I haven't tried that as yet. I bought these shoes to wear at home while working, because I feel more professional if I'm wearing shoes.These shoes are beautiful, and they look exactly like the product image. I like the shape of the toebox which is slightly elongated and not rounded, and the foot hole? where you insert your foot also has a nice shape, especially where the toebox is. These shoes don't look clunky or dowdy at all. If you buy these shoes while considering everything I've said above, you won't be disappointed.I wore these shoes all day yesterday and they were quite comfortable. They are very flat without arch supports, but they do have knobby rubber soles which do provide some cushioning. I walk around on concrete floors quite a bit at work in our labs and these were comfortable under those circumstances. I have feet that are narrow at the heel and wide at the toe. Finding shoes that are comfortable in the toe box that I don't walk out of in the back can be a challenge and I often by mary jane style shoes as a result and have to avoid slip on flats like these. However, after an entire day of wearing, these were fitting solidly to my foot without pushing in the sides of my toes or without my stepping out of them in the back. My mom said there used to be shoes made with "combination lasts" that solved this problem long ago. Sadly, all we have today is trial and error. I hesitated to order due to this problem, but the price was right. I was very pleased with the fit from the moment I put them on to the moment I took them off. I am typically a size 9. I did order these in size 10 as I've found that for my foot I usually need to go up one size for a Chinese shoe. The flowers on them are very cute - not cheap looking at all (and I am super funny about floral decorations on anything - I would be the first one to criticize if they looked cheap or cheesy).Hey guys, it’s Kat again with another great review!!! First off, love Asian culture since I was a kid and I wanted to get some shoes that represented that. These are perfect!! Now, I wear a 8.5 in US. As far as it fitting, it does, but you will have to break the shoes in because at first they were a bit tight….could be my wide feet and not the shoes fault. After you break them in, they are super comfortable and the material is breathable! Great for the summer but I wouldn’t want to ruin my cute shoes in the rain. Very affordable not too expensive. And they are so good, I got the light tan color and now I’m going to get the blue. Thanks DODOING for the shoes! They are great!If you love pretty shoes you will like these. I wore them to a big party with a simple dress and jacket. Got compliments from shoe-lovers. The original pair I bought, half a size larger than my regular, were slightly tight in the length. I loved them so much and they are so inexpensive I went online and bought another pair yet another half-size larger and they are perfect. So that is one full size larger than my usual.
