Not that the ad was bad but the boots are even better than the pics. As I told the seller I should have picked a smaller size because I have wide feet and high arches so when measuring shoeless I'm a 7.5 but when stuffed into a shoe I need at least a 9 to make these penguines happy. So obviously to keep em happy I ordered a size 9 and go figure the boots are made wide and roomy. I could have been walking around right now lookin like I got small feet for once but I digress I'm no package returner I just can't bare all that added anticipation not that it took very long for them to get here two days in fact but I can be happy with what I have and on the even brighter side I can now put my very much neglected thick socks to their purpose. I'll also add that the leg part of the boots fit perfectly I don't have cankles or thick legs and the belts that are boasted on the boot are actually functional yes I've actually had non functional buckles on random things I've ordered in history and there's hardly anything more disappointing in the world of accessories than the presence of phony. ie; a bow that's sewn in tied position, plastic silver, bowties that clamp on(maybe ok for young boys) plastic compact and locket mirrors or worse... FOIL mirrors! ankle and waistbands that are enclosed around cheapy elastic bands and not elastic fabric bands.. ouch and again.. the afformentioned fake inoperable buckle. Ok I'm done my rant, apologies, so back to the boots.. while they are not authentic leather the material used seems to be of decent quality pretty durable unlike the pleather that bubbles after a short time and they got wet which correct me if I'm incorrect but isn't that the main reason the boot was intended for is bad weather like rain or snow? Although why is rain or snow bad weather? Isn't it supposed to snow in the winter and much needed rain in other months? imo bad weather applies to nasty sleet or icy rain and every natural disaster ?️and occurrence of nature ???️⚡???????☄️?️?that will exponentially cause a bad day and in those moments I don't think people are thinking too much about what to put on their feet so I guess it wouldn't be far off to say they were intended for the days when nature would respond to the earth which some of its inhabitants would find these responses unsavory and do their own responding which was nothing more than resent, tolerance, and adaptation hence; the boot, rain gear☔, snow gear?, wind- chimes?, windmills?, windsocks? and wacky wavy inflatable flailing-arm (and other body part)tube-guy and other characters, and every other object designed created or invented in response to nature's response?️ to ?Earth's demands? which if you think about it are quite kinky... I'll not elaborate. Sooo.. as I already stated it seems as though these boots are going to be a proper response to nature in the department of looks functionality and comfort for some time to come and that's all anyone should ask for ??
