love the shoes. fit perfect comfy. one problem. the strap broke the first time i wore them. so i was barefoot at my granddaughters party. not coolI've purchased Mary Jane style shoes like this before, and I would choose this particular shoe over any other. Of course the design is very simple, but they go with everything- my favorite being taking off your heels and slipping into something comfortable after work. Other Mary Janes i've purchased in the past always carried the same odor I couldn't identify (I assumed it had to do with the manufacturing) and had a very hard sole you couldn't bend, and caused me to clack around wherever I went. However its not the case with these at all. Bendable sole, simple material, and altogether a plain simple shoe thats just a bit different. I wear them with most everything, in a few words extremely versatile. With a price you cant beat!The material of the shoe is thinner than expected. In the pictures the sole of the shoe looks red. (I got the navy blue pair) It is not red and is very thin but it is a hard sole. And my shoes had spots of glue from manufacturing all over them. Not what I expected but ok for the priceIt's not advertised as a substantial shoe, so don't expect that. But if you don't need or want support, it'll do.I loved these shoes but they did not last very long.They completely fell apart on me. First the bucklething tore off then it started getting holesI like these a lot. Really comfortable to walk in, and the size fits perfectly. But they do feel a bit flimsy, almost like my toes are going to pop out of the top of the shoes. But I'd still wear them.Bought these in black and navy for my nieces. They liked them a lot.I love these type of Mary Jane's for as long as I can remember they are comfortable it feels like I am wearing no shoes better than sandals.
